The Classic Pizza..

This week we are featuring a classic. The Margherita pizza is from the specialty pizza list. It is a classic pizza from Italy featuring fresh tomatoes. We think you will really like this pizza. Next time you're in the restaurant try it for yourself.

Specialty Pizza Time...

Just in time for the weekend, this week's featured menu item is one from the specialty pizza list. We think you will really like this pizza. It can be red or white and it is really tasty! It's a popular taste back home in London and soon to be here in Plainville. Next time you're in the restaurant try it for yourself.

Fresh Pressed!

The Hartford Courant has just printed a review of our humble eatery and we couldn't be more pleased. Even though we believe in our product and service, it is always good to hear other who recognize the efforts behind it. Here is an excerpt from the article and a link to the full story. Many thanks for your support!

I am wasteful when it comes to pizza. If it is not finished in one sitting, it goes into the trash. But that was before I tasted the Sophia pizza from the new Vero Pizza bistro in Plainville. Now my new rule is save the leftovers so I can enjoy it all.

Family & Friends Night

Tonight, we opened our doors unofficially to all, but specifically family and friends. The staff was anxious to get going just minutes before the doors opened. At 4 p.m. the door was opened and people starting flowing in as the kitchen starting buzzing. Orders were taken. Salads, appetizers and pizzas all made to order and cooked to perfection flowed from the kitchen. Great conversation, laughs and smiles exuded from the guests as they enjoyed their meals. Vero was abuzz. Compliments for the chef and kitchen staff were aplenty. Here is a sample of what some said.

I ordered this same pizza [Sophia] at Mario Batali’s restaurant and this was so much better!
This was the best spinach salad I ever had. I would come in everyday just for it!
