We will be closed Thursday 23 November, Thanksgiving day to let our employees enjoy the day off with their friends and families. We wanted to let you know that we will be opening at 3 PM this Sunday, February 5. The restaurant will not be open for dining in; however, takeout orders will be fulfilled until 9 PM that night. We highly recommend that you pre-order by calling us at 860.846.0491. This way you can have your food ready when you want and not have to wait.

As far as the New Year holiday, we will be open New Year's Eve regular hours, but if we get slow we may close a little early so call ahead to confirm after 8PM. We will be closed New Year's Day (Sunday), but will reopen Monday at 11:00 AM.

With the unofficial start of summer upon us, we wanted to let you know we will be closed Monday, 30th nof May in observance of Memorial Day. It will be a day of much needed rest for our staff. We hope you and your family have a great weekend and enjoy your barbecues.

Many of you may already know we have introduced our loyalty card once again, but this time using the free app Perka. It's a win-win for us all. Hopefully you've downloaded the app and started using it to collect points on the way to free pizza.
There is an "autopay" feature with Perka, which you can use to pay for your takeout or dine-in experience. If you would like to know more about it feature check out this article. We wanted to invite all of you to come Monday, 14th March (next Monday) to the 6th Annual Plainville Pizza Feud sponsored by the Plainville Chamber of Commerce. It is a great event which helps support the community here in Plainville. Come show your support of Vero and let your vote help us win the competition.
You can come down to the newly renovated Plainville VFW (7 Northwest Drive, just one light north of Vero in Route 10) and taste pizzas in 6 categories from at least 4 of the local Pizza restaurants here in town. The event starts at 5:30 PM and tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 5 and under. Tickets are available at the door. There will also be entertainment by DJ BB Pro. The categories are Best Cheese, Best Veggi, Best Meat, Best Specialty, Best Creative, Best Buffalo Chicken! The categories will be judged by a panel consisting of pillars the community:

We want to let you know about some upcoming events over the next few weeks.
First, we are having a "Craft Beer and Rare Whisky" tasting on Saturday, 30 January here at the restaurant from 1pm - 3pm. Seating will be limited so you will need to RSVP by calling the restaurant (860.846.0491). The kitchen will also be open for those wishing to order food.
Second, Superbowl Sunday (7 February) is fast approaching. The restaurant will be open for "takeout" orders only from 4-9PM. There is a private party being held at the restaurant that evening. We are strongly encouraging you to PREORDER for the night. You can do this by email (email@example.com) before that Friday (5 February) evening or calling the restaurant anytime that week. This will ensure your order is ready for pickup at the right time and we can better prepare our order to make sure we have all the delicious items you would like.
Breakfast? Who mentioned breakfast? We have been exploring the idea of offering breakfast on the weekends with some unique menu items complimenting the traditional breakfast fare. We are finalizing the menu and will release the menu in the coming week or two for you to examine. Stay tuned to see when we will start serving breakfast and to make sure you don't miss out.

We are teaming up with Town & Country Liquors to host a special event on Sunday, 13 December 2015. The event will be from 2-4PM that day and will not be open to the general public. A whisky expert will be on hand to talk about the small batch whiskies. It will be a great event and RSVP soon. Spots will fill up fast.
